For your safety and the safety of others on the road, DO NOT USE bungee cords, rubber straps, or rope for restraining load.  Our package will include two ratchet straps for properly securing loads. 

EXTEND-N-LOAD® was developed for oversized load assistance for short-bed pickups as an alternative to common ladder racks requiring overhead lifting thus reducing awkwardness and muscle/shoulder strain.

What is the EXTEND-N-LOAD® system made from?  Aluminum.

How much does the EXTEND-N-LOAD® system weigh?  34 pounds.

What size pickups will the EXTEND-N-LOAD® system fit?  EXTEND-N-LOAD® easily adjusts to work with mid-size and full-size pickups ranging 56" to 72" wide.  Custom sizes can be created if needed.

How much weight can the EXTEND-N-LOAD® system carry?  It will depend on make, model, and condition of pickup.  EXTEND-N-LOAD® tested evenly distributed weight up to 500 lbs.  

Will the EXTEND-N-LOAD® system work with truck bed covers and tonneau covers?  EXTEND-N-LOAD® was developed to work with a wide range of truck bed covers and tonneau covers without need to remove or modify existing or newly installed covers.

 Is the EXTEND-N-LOAD® system permanently mounted?  No, EXTEND-N-LOAD® can be used when needed to address the occasional dilemma of hauling long rigid items.

How long does it take to assemble the EXTEND-N-LOAD® system?  EXTEND-N-LOAD® is delivered in a 3"x 6"x48" box.  Assembly should take no more than 10 minutes.

How long does it take to install and remove the Extend-N-Load® system?  EXTEND-N-LOAD® can install and remove in less than a minute each.

Will this carry a kayak?  Yes, Extend-N-Load® can carry kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes up to 12 feet long.

Temporary installation and removal of the EXTEND-N-LOAD® system will not damage your truck box.

After use, simply remove and move to garage/shop storage or re-size and store on floor bed of pickup box.
